What if I don't currently have a doorbell?

The Google Nest Hello Doorbell is a wired doorbell, and our Wired Doorbell Installation requires that you have an existing working doorbell.  

If your doorbell requires additional work, our techs will quote the additional cost.

Can I still use a Google Nest Hello Doorbell if I have a intercom or front gate control?

These systems typically won’t work with Google Nest Hello Doorbells if it’s wired to the system. However, you can install Hello Doorbell with the optional Indoor Power Adapter. The adapter lets you plug the Hello Doorbell into an indoor power outlet instead of wiring it directly to the system. You can get visitor notifications on your phone or Google Assistant-enabled speaker.

What if my transformer doesn't have enough voltage?

Google Nest Hello Doorbells needs to be powered by wires delivering 16 - 24 V AC, and at least 10 VA (in North America). Tip: A traditional doorbell system uses very little power, but the Google Nest Hello has specific power requirements so the camera can continuously record video.

Will OnTech teach me how to use my new Smart Doorbell?

As part of our service guarantee, your OnTech technician will show you how to manage your Google Nest Hello Doorbell via the Nest app.

How much is Google Nest Hello Doorbell installation?
