Protection Plan Terms of Use

This plan is billed at $24.99 a month until canceled. The plan begins on the day you enroll with access to 24/7 tech support, and all other coverage begins 31 days after enrollment. The plan will cover mechanical and electrical breakdowns and, for eligible products, includes coverage for accidental damage from normal handling such as cracked screens. There may be a service fee up to $99 per approved claim and there are limits of $2,000 per claim and $5,000 per rolling 12-month period. Your agreement with Asurion contains binding arbitration. OnTech Smart Home Protect automatically renews month-to-month unless you cancel.

When does my plan start?

The plan begins on Day 1 with access to technical support, including $49 installation services for eligible covered products. Device protection coverage begins on Day 31 of enrollment. Any preexisting conditions or breakdowns that occur before Day 31 are not covered. There is a 30-day waiting period to file a claim.

Can I cancel my plan?

You may cancel your plan anytime (with a full refund if canceled within the first 30 days.) If you cancel after 30 days of coverage, you will receive a prorated refund of the unearned portion of the monthly fee you paid. See terms and conditions for complete details.

OnTech Smart Home Protect™ provides device protection and tech support for the following devices:
